FOR THE ADVANCED
TOP OF FOOT:
Back brush the top and trim at a 45 degree angle as shown. Trimming of the foot is 3 dimensional and if you are not totally comfortable with this technique, let your handler do this finishing touch. Less is more, over trimming the top of the foot will ruin the look.
Note: I would like to emphasize the importance of the appearance of the feet in the show ring. The look you are trying to accomplish is plush, round on the top and oval shaped, NOT cat like.
Personally, for this cut, I like to use short straight shears, you may want to use your thinning shears until you become more proficient.
